Dept. of self promotion

The Phoenix has published its top ten list of the year’s best books…and Feeding the Monster is on it. Since the list is compiled alphabetically by author, there’s a good chance (about ten percent, actually), that FTM is No. 1. Take that, Looming Tower!

I know: you’re probably thinking to yourself there’s no way you’ll be able to get your hands on such a popular book less than a week before Christmas. But you’re wrong! In fact, the following stores sprinkled throughout the greater Boston area should have signed copies in stock. (Other fine booksellers will have the book, but sans my illegible signature. And, of course, there’s always Amazon.) Regardless of where you buy it, I’m still sending out signed, personalized bookplates within hours of receiving requests…

Signed copies, get your signed copies here…

No scheduled in-store appearances today, but at some point during the day I promised I’d get to the following stores to sign all of their stock, which, in most cases, is at least a couple of dozen copies…so they should be okay. For a couple of days, anyway. (No, no, for longer than that. Just head over there. You’ll be fine.)

As sensitive and empathic as I am, I’m not able to actually predict to whom you’ll want me to sign these books, so…pick up an actual signed copy and then email and ask me for one of those cool little bookplate thingies. Then you’ll have both. And you’ll be so wicked loved.
